When: Tuesday, March 7, 2017, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm -- with registration beginning at 8:30 am.
Where: Sheraton on Capitol Square, 75 East State Street, Columbus, OH 43215
We are very pleased to announce that our lunch keynote speaker will be David Daley, author of the book Rat F**ked: The True Story Behind the Secret Plan to Steal America's Democracy.
In his book, Daley chronicles the unprecedented effort by political operatives to hack American democracy through an audacious plan to flip state legislatures and redraw state and congressional legislative district lines in their party's favor. Mr. Daley is the former editor-in-chief of Salon and the Digital Media Fellow for the Wilson Center for Humanities and the Arts at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia.
You are welcome to join us for the entire day, a half day, or just for lunch. Meetings with legislators will be scheduled throughout the day upon request.
Registration is $45 for members, $50 for non-members, and $25 for students. Registration closes one week before the event, and a flat fee of $55 will apply to any walk-ins who are not registered. Online registration is now open. Click here to register.
If you prefer to drive in the night before, we have a discounted room rate at the Sheraton on Capitol Square (same hotel as the Statehouse Day event). We secured a discounted rate of $154/night for the night of Monday, March 6. Our rate is guaranteed until 2/12/17 and after that date based only on availability.
